Most people are under fed and hence require guidance to be healthy, however, most of the people are to poor to afford healthcare or do not find it out of the odd to be in this state. Higher middle class and higher class do however. Also in this last class people also need to diet, in most cases above 50. They usually over indulge in oil or ghee, fats and over eating.
Dear fatima my uncle used to say top most position always vacant. So scope means if earning then it depends on you and not your education. By a degree u can not earn. Only by confidence u can earn. Develop confidence in you. Than what ever you choose will have better scope.
Now a Day, The scope is comparatively much higher than what it was 10 years ago as more and more people are becoming richer and fatter, Majority of the customers that nutritionist face in Pakistan are either from High gentry or women with skin and weight conditions, majority if them who need to go on a diet before wedding. But diabetic patients are the best market for nutritionist but Pakistanis are still afraid to go to one due to high fee.
well, nutritionist has alot of potential in Pakistan. People are really becoming aware of what they should be eating. Hospital are hiring nutritionist. gyms are hiring nutritionist.
It is worth getting a bachelor of science FOR nutrition. But I would not get a bachelor of science IN nutrition, for you might know a hell of a lot about food, you might not get to taste it so often! \U0001f609
hello,
DND is dying. Recently, Imperial university based in Lahore, shortened it out from 5 years to 4 years in the middle of third year. And students are obliged to cover credit hours in one and a half year. So If you are interested in doing that you must choose BS (hons)-a 4 year degree. UVAS in Lahore and Agriculture University Peshawar are the best in the field.
And you can do a PGD (post graduate diploma) later in clinical nutrition from BZU,Multan or AIOU,ISB. Or MS is always an option.
Good luck.
An anecdotal answer by me:-
A few number of visitors were waiting for a nutritionist out of her room/clinic at OPD of a renowned private hospital over here in Faisalabad. Which is a proof of the scope.
Well, trends are subjected to change, now-a-days. People are going more conscious about their health so, subject career is likely to be kinda useful and beneficial.
All the best !
God bless you :)

All professions are good, but all depends on what you like, whats your passion
That depends. What is your undergrad in?
Yes, a graduate with a Bachelor of Science (http://B.Sc.) degree in Nutrition and Dietetics has a scope of career opportunities. Graduates can work as dietitians, nutritionists, food service managers, research associates, public health nutritionists, and in various other roles related to nutrition and dietetics. They can work in hospitals, schools, research institutions, public health organizations, food companies, and many other settings. With additional education and experience, they can advance to positions of greater responsibility and influence.
I think it is very much needed in Pakistan. I believe the scope of clinical nutritionist is very high in private n public sectors both. The ideal person would be to have PhD in nutrition after having MBBS.
It depends on where u find work.Nutritionists with good skills and good communication may get jobs in upscale private medical instituitions and may make a name for themselves..some go into private practice in such instituitions and do well…
Human nutrition and dietetics scope is growing in the food manufacturing and processing plants. The need in Pakistan is more severe as compared to other countries. In Pakistan, there is a serious lack of nutrients.
One thing for sure is that there ain't much job competition in this field compare to traditional degrees.also people are getting more and more health conscious which will also work in your favor so basically bottom line is that to me at least it looks pretty good.

(Thank you for Ask to Answer)
There is no single nationwide entrance examination for admission to BSc Nutrition and Dietetics courses. However, some state universities offering this course take their own university level entrance exams; most of the colleges also accept admission to the course directly on the basis of merit.
I wish you all the best !
GOD bless you (:
